In October 2017 my life was changed forever. With abdominal pain and just “not feeling right,” I made an appointment with my primary care provider. The news, after an initial MRI and a few subsequent scans, was devastating and really horrifying. I was diagnosed with stage IV melanoma. I had tumor metastasis in 25 different locations, along with innumerable brain metastasis found on my first brain MRI. The largest tumor was in my abdomen. It was the size of a grapefruit.
Talk about being floored! I was bedridden for 3 to 4 months and very close to death. The initial outlook was very dismal. But with the help of newer, life-saving immunotherapy treatments and the love of family, friends — and the Jeep community — I have managed to pull through this and I’m here over two years after my initial diagnosis, trying to live as normally as I possibly can.

Fast forward to now (early 2020) from October 2017. I’ve currently had about 38 immunotherapy infusions total, more scans than I can count, and I’ve continually been poked and prodded along the way for additional blood work and other tests or procedures. This journey has been very difficult mentally to say the least. I’m sure other cancer patients can relate. But I feel like it’s time that I started helping others going through the same cancer hardships as I faced.
That’s where WranglerAds.com comes into play!
I wanted to build WranglerAds.com to help a community of caring people who have been so giving to me since my diagnosis.
25% of all proceeds from paid ads on wranglerads.com will go back to life saving melanoma research (more specifics below). This is my commitment and promise because these innovations in treatments over the past few years saved my life.
Because of immunotherapy, I have gone from 25 different locations of metastasis to none! My brain metastasis are gone. Fingers crossed my next set of scans in July 2020 will be positive. I want to help others get through this horrible cancer. Earlier this year I was honored to share my melanoma story on our local ABC11 News with the hope that it would help others get into their dermatologist to get checked.
Immunotherapy worked well for me from the onset. It has saved my life till now. But this blessing doesn’t mean that it will work forever. This is why I’m asking you, the awesome Jeep community, to please help me give back to a great cause and to help others fighting for their life!

I know from experience (I helped with marketing for Quadratec.com) that Jeep Wrangler owners buy and swap out more parts than any other car enthusiast in the world. My goal is to give Wrangler owners a simple and single location to list and manage all of those new and used Jeep parts collecting dust or taking up valuable garage and storage space.
Plus, 25% of all proceeds made through any paid ad on WranglerAds.com will be donated to the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF). The remainder of the proceeds will go to hosting, website costs (Google Maps API, etc.) further development, maintenance, and enhancements of this website for members. I run the website myself but may seek paid help (when needed) to maintain the website when I am not able to do it.
MRF is an excellent organization and advocate for furthering research for melanoma. They facilitate grants, clinical trials, and other great initiatives to push for a cure to this deadly cancer.

Transparency is everything. We plan to post the proceeds from WranglerAds.com each month as an ongoing/updated blog post to show members just how much of the earnings is being donated from ads. MRF donation receipts will also be disclosed as a viewable PDF. If we have good months, we will donate more than the minimum 25% to MRF. We want to make everything as transparent as possible. We also want to help find a cure for melanoma. Will you please help!
